Product information
This insect powder is a broad spectrum insecticide designed for use in the home or outdoors. The powder, containing 0.5% w/w Permethrin, works similarly to the Protector C in that it sticks to the feet of the crawling and flying insects and is then ingested when the insects come to preen themselves. Death will then follow within 24 or 48 hours. Hoover up and dispose of any dead insects or moths found.
Residex P Dusting Powder is suitable to kill and deter many types of flying and crawling insects including wasps, bed bugs, cockroaches, flies, moths, wood lice, silverfish and ants.
The powder is a safe substitute for spray for where spray cannot be used such as near plug sockets and wiring, and particularly suitable for any cracks, crevices and light fixtures and fittings. The powder comes in an easy to apply puffer pack, making it ideal for going along the edges of carpets and skirting boards with, as spraying can be awkward in this area in particular for elderly users.
Apply at 10-25g per square metre and when treating ants, be sure to lay the powder on their ant runs as well as near the entrances of any ant nests found. When tackling a wasp infestation, apply the powder liberally to the front of the wasp nest itself.
If left untouched and undisturbed, the residual effect from the powder can last up to 3 months. Can be used on hard porous and non-porous surfaces, hard and soft furnishings. Ensure that all areas where insects may hide including and cracks and crevices, under carpets etc are all treated. Apply at monthly intervals to any resting or breeding sites.
Available in 100g and 300g pack sizes.
